Hi, I need to add directed broadcast command on a router. The command is mls ip directed-broadcast {exclude-router | include-router} but I don't know where I need to apply it. Somebody can explain me how it's work?
Thanks

Fabrice,
mls ip directed-broadcast command is used to enable hardware switching of IP-directed broadcasts. This is an interface mode command so you have to use it on the Layer-3 interface or on vlan SVI interface.

I need to send Magic packet to clients and they are in different vlan. The server is in vlan5 and all clients are in vlan8, vlan9 and vlan10. Where I need to apply the command, on the server sending interface or on the client’s interfaces.

On all of the interfaces. When we enable MLS we enable it globally and also on each and every interface.
