I am using a Cisco 3600 router for RAS application. It has an E1 controller module for the E1 lease line connection and also have mica modems installed inside. Username and password are manually encoded in the router for AAA functions. My users are disconnected at the same time and the following disconnection reasons were reflected in the router logs:
1. Disconnect Reason (0x8220) - EC rcvd DISC frame
2. Disconnect Reason (0x7F00) - Host Disconnect
3. Disconnect Reason (0xDF00) - Host Disconnect
My users have no problem when they attempt to reconnect again but they are again disconnected eventually. Anyone knows the meaning/cause of the disconnect reason?

"EC rcvd DISC frame" is always a normal disconnect where a client itself wants to hang up the call for whatever reason. However the other two *could* be server side disconnects. I would run ppp/modem/dialer
debugs to find out more about them. See if idle timer or absolute timer is not kicking in.
