Disk size for LMS2.2 or new 2.3

Hi All

Building a new server to hopefully last for the next 2-4 years. There are about 2k to 2.5k devices at the moment. This will be increased but not excessively. Running RME and CM and maybe DFM later.

The Win box is Dual 3.2G Xeon processor with 4G RAM and 72G hard disk.

Cisco say 40G for CMS2.2, is the 72G disk going to be enough?

Depends upon how much data is being collected by LMS, it should be OK. Make sure that you rotate your logs etc files properly.

Any help on logrot appreciated.

Setr up the variables - backup directory, achive revisions how many is normal?, file size and compression.

Ran logrot, saaw no change in file size, should CW2k be restarted?
