What does dispose udp.no port mean? I'm trying to troubleshoot some dhcp problems, and I see on the MSFC, when doing a debug ip error detail, I see UDP src=68, dst=67 dispose udp.noport.

The fact that you are getting this error message for DHCP appears to be related to a bug. What version of IOS are you running on this MSFC?

Thanks,

I am running version 12.2(17d)SXB4 on my MSFC's.

I couldn't find anything specific to this message. Could you explain what is the problem your are running into.

Thanks,

We have been having problems getting Windows 2003 member server to work as a DHCP server reliably. I just happened to look at the router and saw the errors. I have just finished upgrading the MSFCs to 12.2.17d SXB10 and I'm still seeing that error. I see it on all the MSFCs on our other 6 sites as well. It may be nothing, but I figure an error is not good.
