I was told by someone that there was a command on the 3850-12x that you could enable 10g on a GLC-TE sfp, but I haven't been able to find anything that says that is possible.

I need to enable jumbo frames on a pair of Nexus 5k's that sit between UCS B chassis and Netapp Storage. If I enable it globally using service policy, how will it affect other things connected to the 5k's that aren't using jumbo frames?

Yes, I know the SFP is supported in the switch. My question is can you make it a 10g port with that module. When SFP is inserted, it say 10/100/1000. Supposedly there is a command to enable 10g with some cli command.
