Encryption Query

Hi, hope someone can advise on this.

My WAN consists of 3620's in the central office with 1720's at remote sites. Each 3620 has eight 128kb lines into it. Link encryption is done using external Cylink Encryptors. I have been asked to find out if I can use 3DES/AES from router to router and get rid of external encryptors. I think I would need to upgrade the hardware.

3620's have 64M DRAM and 16M Flash

1720's have 32M DRAM and 8 Flash

Any ideas are most welcome. Also, what IOS feature set should I aim for?

According to the "software advisor" your 3620 needs this software, c3620-ik9o3s3-mz.12.213.T14, 64M DRAM and 16M Flash. Just what you have.

But the 1720 needs this software, c1700-k9sy7-mz.12.215.T14, unfortunatly it need 48M DRAM and 16M Flash.

This is just one idea, I am sure there are other solutions.
