Erase port channel

I am trying to erase a port channel in a Catalyst 6509 with CatOS v.5.4(4) and I cannot find the exact command.

I know CatOS can be confusing at times. You need to use the set port channel mod/port mode off command to achieve what you are trying to do.

Thank you for replying. We have done that before, and although the channel is not working, the channel commands are still int the CatOS configuration. We would like to clean the channel configuration.

The admin group for port channels will still be present even when you set a port channel to off. You cannot clear it unless you issue a clear config all
