On a C1721 running c1700-bnr2y-mz.122-11.T.bin
which is configured from 'empty' via the console interface.
The router keeps telling me the following messages :
%Error opening tftp://255.255.255.255/network-confg (Timed out)
%Error opening tftp://255.255.255.255/cisconet.cfg (Timed out)
%Error opening tftp://255.255.255.255/n80841-confg (Timed out)
%Error opening tftp://255.255.255.255/n80841.cfg (Timed out)
How do I turn this off (the only connection to the router is the con 0 interface) ?

Hi!
When do you get this message?? on boot-up or everytime? Can you attach the first part of your config?

Hi,
there is probably
service config
line in the beginning of the router config making the router trying to load the config via tftp when rebooted (see http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/software/ios120/12cgcr/fun_r/frprt2/frcfgfil.htm#1017708).
Regards,
Milan
