Ethernet not showing up

I have a 2600 series router with 2 built-in ethernet ports. When I loaded a new flash, I now no longer have both ethernet port present. I only have 1, and remains in shutdown mode no matter how many times I do the (no shut command). Any Ideas???????

What flash image did you upgrade to? I assume it is a 2611. First thought is that the image doesn't support the hardware.

Possible action:

downgrade to original image and see what happens.

Upgrade to a new image.

Search for bugs on that current IOS iamge.

I put 1338, because the original flash was 1335. I will try and load the original back but my other routers all have 1338 on them and they work perfectly fine. But thanks for the advice. Hope it works.
