Need some advice on the extended traceroute. "Port Number" field is the destination port used by the UDP probe messages as described in cisco.com. But when I did a extended traceroute with the port number set at 1 and at the destination, I had debugging turned on, I captured the below results. Noticed that the destination port number was incremented for every probe count. Is this how the "Port Number" field is supposed to work?
