Extending VLANs on to Other Switch

Hi Friends,

I am falling short of Ports on my Cisco Switch and i want to cascade onto Other Switch. My First Switch is configured with Multiple VLANS. How to Configure the 2nd Switch so that all the VLAn Info will flow freely between Switches. Any Doc. in this regard would be of great help. Non CCO Login Pls.

What kind of switches are these? If they support ISL/Dot1q trunking, you might want to configure them to be trunks and pass all VLANs over it

Easiest way is to configure VTP on the two switches. Make one a server, one a client, and put them both in the same domain. Any changes in VLAN configuration made on the server will propagate to the client afer a short, frustrating delay.
