If you mean two chips for the bootflash: that are currently seperate due to the command 'partition flash 2 4 4' then yes, you can remove the command for an 8Mb bootflash:.
However, if you mean two seperate devices, 4 Mb in bootflash: and 4 Mb in PCMCIA Slot1: then No you cannot combine them.
