For Multlink interface ,MTU size is set to 1500,but able to ping upto 9000.How???
Multilink is bundle of 2 E1 in chanellized STM-1

Ah not sure - just to verify, are you setting the DF bit on your ping and testing that way?

No, that's a PPP option.
As Jonathan has asked, are you setting DF in your ping? If not, ping will allow larger than MTU, it will just fragment the IP packet.

It's not PPP, it's IP that does.
Again, try setting DF and see if it works.
However, if you're just ping across the PPP link, often serial media used with PPP supports MTUs larger than Ethernet.
