Frame relay traffic shapping

We have a headend 3662 router with a HSSI interface terminating 3 T1s (muxed). This router support 40+ remote sites and is over-subscribed based on total remote ports that it terminates. It is obviously not over subscribed based on CIR. We need to implement FRTS in order to accommodate VOIP at a couple of these remote. This requires us to apply FRTS to all PVC's or they will default to 56K. We are just going to traffic shape all data PVCs to the remote port size with no fragmentation. The two remote voice locations will be FRTS to CIR and fragementation set accordingly.

My question is, will the 3662 router allow us to configure traffic shapping that exceeds the total of what the HSSI will support. The HSSI has a bandwidth statement of 3056K for the 3T1s.

I do not know if the HSSI supports your demand, but on a 7204VXR I've a total of 6.144 kbps with a statement of the bw of 1984k for

the E1 interface, and also others routers on which I've configured the

FRTS exceed the amount total of the physical interface without

problems.
