I have a known good fan module that does not work when plugged into a 15454 Cerent chassis. Any ideas on where to check first? Pin-out of the connector on the back of the shelf possibly?

refer to the initial troubleshooting guide below:
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/optical/spares/15454/sonet/guides/454fan.html
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/optical-networking/ons-15454-series-multiservice-provisioning-platforms/products-troubleshooting-guides-list.html

its already eos, so the rma would not be possible from tac. but you check it once for clarity.

Thank you. I found a spare daughter board that is wired to the fan module connector, and replacing it fixed the trouble.
