hi, i'm a network engineer in japan.
i need a help from you. i wanna configure no service pad command in CatOS.
i can't find any set command in WS-C4003 Software, Version NmpSW: 6.3(2a).
and what's PAD(packet Assembler/Disassembler)??
also, i can't set telnet password in CatOS.
i would appreciate your help.

Hello,
AFAIK, the service pad only applies to Cisco IOS, and there is no equivalent fo this in CatOS.
As to setting the password for TELNET sessions, set the password first:
set password xxxx
set enablepass xxx
and then define the authentication for the TELNET sessions (depending on what you use, the example below is for TACACS):
set authentication login tacacs enable telnet primary
