I have a 4500-X connecting to an ISP device. The ISP only have 100MB how do I rate limit the interface on the 4500-X without loosing the QoS service policy on the 4500X

with out QoS is the no other way to rate limit the traffic except playing with the interface speed and duplex.

Unfortunately not the 4500-X interface are all tenGB and we use a GLC-T 1GB copper SFP which means you can't adjust the speed only disable/enable speed negotiation. Ideally though we can do it with nest/hierarchical policy-maps but the Cisco docs are a bit misleading the 4500-X does not support nested/hierarchical policy-maps
