hi,

i've got a short question.

when you type a "show int x" there is a field called reliability.

hopefully it has a value of 255 of 255 which would mean that you had a full realibility of 100 % in average of the last 5 min.

but how is it calculated ?

error counters ?

load at 255 of 255 for a specified time ?

kind regards

Hi Chris,

i found this: Reliability of the interface as a fraction of 255/ (255/255 is 100% reliability), calculated as an exponential average over 5 minutes.

and this: "Reliability is calculated using the following formula: reliability = number of errors / number of total frames "

I hope this are the information you need.
