I do have a Cisco 1720 router running IOS c1700-sy-mz.122-6c. I do have other two IOS images in flash which I want to erase to give me the chance to download a new one. Using the delete command, marks both files as 'deleted', but the spaces are not freed up. When trying to put a new IOS image the router says that there's no available space. I don't have either the 'squeeze' option for this IOS/router. What should I do to remove these two files ? Is this a regular behavior for this chassis ?
