How to generate enough traffic between 2 routers to fill a 100Mbit link??

Dear all,

We are looking for a way to test a link of 100Mbit. We want to generate enough traffic to fill up the 100Mbit link.

there is in the IOS the possibility for using chargen, but this works only on very small links.

We tried the ttcp command, but it was not working for us,

we found a lot of  programs to download and install on a pc, but we are for a way to test this between 2 routers using the cisco IOS.

Does anyone have an idea how we can generate enough traffic to "overload" our 100Mbit link for further troubleshooting ?

We are using cisco2500 with IOS 11.2(18)P

There is no way, you must use external generators.

Note, 2500 not only will not generate 100 Mbps, but will not handle not even a tenth of that.
