Our office need to set up the network for remote dialup access. For some reason we can only use a E1 line to achive the remote access mission, The remote office use the analog line to dialin. Cause it need too much time to

place an order for the cisco access server, we just want to use 2600 or 3600 series router to set up the network.

Can somebody be kind to give me some advice for this project. -what router and module use, & some config example is the best .

Thans a lot for your kindless

You can use 3600 router with E1 line and digital mica modems to terminate the analog calls over E1 lines. so along with E1 card, you need NM-xxDM mica modems to terminate the analog calls. xx number is multiple of 6 so it may be 6,12,18,24 etc..Part number for E1 line card is NM-1CE1B

Now you can ask the telco to configure E1 line for PRI or CAS signalling. After that here is the links which will help you for total config on 3600.
