Is their a special syntax to use so that from a remote location via an internet web browser i can retrieve a page from a server that is on a NAT'd isp.

something like http://xx.xxx.xxx.xxx (being the global ip) and then the local NAT ip 192.168.1.2 so that the router will know where to send the request.

You should only need to specify the global address. If the router is running NAT, it will already have a table of global to local address mappings.
