HW Support for PA-MC-8TE1+ ON THE VIP4-80

Hi

I have a Cisco 7505 in which i got a VIP4-80 installed with a PA-MC-8TE1+ and a OC3 PA. The OC3 card is recognized but the PA-MC-8TE1+ card does not show on

Show Controllers or

Show version

Although it does show on the

show diag

command

The IOS version is 12.2(24b)

What should i do in order to see this card. There is a red ALM led lit up as well.

You must first configure the card type as a T1 or an E1 before it will be seen. See:
