I have a 2meg internet connection presented as x21 on a 3600 router my provider is going to increase this by another 2 Meg. To do this they are going to present another 2 meg on an additional x21 cable. My problem is i use IP unnumbered for the ip address of the existing interface, can i keep this when i effectively have two internet connections on the router. Does someone a smarter way of configuring a router for two x21 internet connections?

If you are using PPP encapsulation, you can configure multilink on the two interfaces and give ip unnumbered command for the multilink interface.
Chk this out:

thanks for the info, i will ask the internet provider if they can accomodate ppp multilink at their end
