I don't recall a standard usage for "IGP shortcut". Meaning likely depends on context.

Do you have a public reference, where you've seen this and don't understand the meaning?

HI Joseph,

IGP shortcut in MPLS-TE tunnel. As i referred the document i came to
know that TE tunnel auto-route announcement is called as IGP shortcut.If
it is wrong pls suggest the correct one.

Cannot say whether it's correct for not. Don't recall seeing the term.

However, in a way, it makes some sense, if it tunnels an IGP across a MPLS network. In concept, though, not much different from other tunnels that can transport an IGP.
