Hi,

I would like to increase bandwidth on 2600 cisco router from E1 (2mb to 16mb). I want to know how that can be achieved and I only want to use cisco gear.

Actually it is for meeting rooms, and E1 is only 2mb and this will impact on internet connections if there are more than 10 users ? am i right on this - please correct if not.

So having 16mb E1 link (rather correctly E3) will this be a right solution ?

Help will be appreciated also only on cisco gear.

Thanks

A

hi

I would suggest to do a network study about the traffic, different applications and the concurrent users who works with different applications..

This info will help you to decide on the bandwidth requirement to your org once that is approximately derived you can think off about going on for the hardware box with necessary cards required to support the connectivity.

so do throw more lite on the application and concurrent user info which will help to decide on the hardware box with cards and the bandwidth (required) which can serve the purpose here..
