I need to Team my intel NIC cards to any style Cisco switch. I have all the info for setting up teaming supplied by Intel. Where can I find info regarding teaming on the Cisco Switch end?

You'll need to configure etherchannel on the Cisco switch
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/473/#EtherChannel
BTW what kind of switch do you have?

I have connected quite a few Intel teams into Cisco Cat switches. It depends on what type of team you are configuring- earlier versions of Intel ProSet teams were Adaptive Load Balancing (ALB), Adapter Fault Tolerant (AFT), or as mentioned in the other reply, Ether Channel. If you config either ALB or AFT, you can simple plug these two teamed interfaces into a common switch fabric. One of the NIC's will be deemed as the Primary, and only its MAC address will be used, so as far as the MAC address or CAM table is concerened there is only one interface. The other alternative is to config EtherChannel as described in the other reply- it works great.

Do you have any details with Switch Fault Tolerance setup with dual 6509 switches and Windows 2000 Server?

here is the link which tells about the teaming option with compaq, hopefully it is same with intel.. But if you are talking about switch fault tolerance, the only thing you have to do on the cisco side, is to configure the etherchannel/portchannel as mentioned earlier in the reply.. ;
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/servers/networking/teaming.html
genereally the command in catos,
set port channel mod/port on
But in this case, you can connect all the ports which are team together to only one switch. You can't span the ports in one team on two switches..
Hope this helps.

I simply use EtherChannel on the Cisco switches and this works perfectly in my network. That is I have both redundancy (at the NIC level) and at the same time produce more throughput. On top of teaming the adapters/switch ports, you can also turn the the "virtual" team into a "trunk" interface. If this is one option you want to do then email me on vincentn@mediamonitors.com.au and I'll let you know more about some limitations.
