IOS security - Type 8 - PBKDF2 HASHED passwords

Hello All,

I have a client that I need to use Type 8 - PBKDF2 HASHED password.

While I search I found out support for type 8 and type 9 algorithms were added with 15.3(3)M. 

Can anyone suggest IOS version that supports Type 8 - PBKDF2 for the following equipment?

This client runs following eqipments.

Cisco 878

Cisco 1841

Cisco 1921/K9

Cisco 2801

Cisco 2901/K9

Cisco 3925

A bit of bad news:  ISR G1's max out at 15.1M (your 878, 1841, 2801).

For the other software recommendations, at this point I would use one of the Cisco Suggested releases as long as they are MD and have a few revisions under their belt (e.g., 15.4(3)M6a MD).

With the frequency security vulnerabilities and patches are released, you'll be in a constant upgrade and/or workaround cycle anyway.
