I am trying to upgrade my IOS on my 1605 router. I seem to have done it but whenever I boot the router, it boots into boot mode (ie, Router(boot)>). How can i get it to boot to flash??

It will come up from the boot ROMs if the last number in the config register is set to 1 eg 0x2101. To get it to boot from flash you need to set it to 0x2102 eg

config term

config-register 0x2102

NB You do NOT need to save this change. If you do save anything from the boot prompt, you may lose part of your config.
