Hello,
I have a basic question, when you type in
sh ip accounting,it gives u source,dest,packets,bytes..Can someone explain me whether bytes is bytes/second ? or total bytes for the whole transaction
Source destination packets bytes
x.x.x.x x.x.x.x 300 2567890
Thanks,

It is total bytes sent from source to destination and not bytes/sec.

It is total bytes from source to destination since last time the ip accounting was reset.

It is the total number of byte for that specific flow.
Hope this helps,
