IP Accounting

I'm currently reviewing the way we have IP accounting configured on our 2 7200 series routers. the current way is to run ip accouting on all ip addresses within our network, currently some 4000+ address, many of which are not active. This gives us around 12 "ip accounting-list" entries. My question is if i change this just to report on individual subnets(which will generate 90+ "ip accounting-list" entries) will the cpu usage increase or decrease?

By enabling IP accounting, users can see the number of bytes and packets switched through the Cisco IOS software on a source and destination IP address basis. IP accounting support also provides information identifying IP traffic that fails IP access lists. Identifying IP source addresses that violate IP access lists alerts you to possible attempts to breach security. Here is a document on Configuring IP Accounting.
