Does anyone know where can I get the IP address of the router and the modem?

Hi Friend,
If you want to know what all ip addresses are configured on the router you can issue a command
"sh ip int brief" if incase it is a Cisco router.
The ip address of the modem if incase it is a cable or DSL modem you have to access the modem to know it or contact your ISP what ip address is been assigned to your modem.
If this is not what you want to know can you be more clear with your quesion.

Hi
What kinda modem and router you are talking about here ??
In normal cisco routers you can plugin using the console cable onto the console port and check up the same.
You can issue up show run / show ip int brief / show interfaces to view the config as well as the ip assigned on the interfaces..
You got to have Password protected console ports too thru which you can login using only the valid passwords eithe configured locally on the routers or in external authentication servers(TACACS).
