IP helper + ip forward-protocol command

Simple question does the IP forward protocol command replace all of the default ports of the iphelper command or just add the port specified in the command. If it doesn't filter out all of the default protocols of the ip helper command is there a way to do it?

If you add an ip forward protocol command, it just adds that protocol ot the list of 8 default ports that are enabled when helper address is configured. To disable those 8, you will have to do a "no ip forward protocol" command for each of them. Not a huge task to do. Open a notepad, put a "no ip forward protocol" command and copy and paste it 8 times and change the port number for each command
