IP redirect on a L3 switch

What is the best way to redirect traffic destined for one IP address to go to another IP address or interface on a L3 switch? For example, I would like to have traffic for 172.16.1.1 /24 to either go to 172.16.1.2 /24 or to go to 172.16.1.3 /24. The reason for this is that I want one of my web servers to not answer to web traffic while it is having its sites updated, but to have another server answering web requests during that time and vice versa. Both servers will be on the same L3 switch and on the same IP network (i.e. 172.16.1.x /24). Please, let me know if know of a way to do this on the Cisco switch.

Thanks

SLB is the answer. It also provides redundancy and is supported on L3 switches.
