Dear all,
I'm new to IPM (2.4) and don't get it working. I have created a source using a seed file and imported some targets from CW2k. When i try to create a collector I always get "AddCollErr,REASON: Not a known Entity". In the Log Display I see
Error The Router resources are low,
Info Got Collector Error in func after sending rsp,
Info IpmOperationManager::collectorError,
Info No pending collectors.
The source router is a separate 3620 in my datacenter with 64MB DRAM,IOS 12.3(5b) and no other connections. It is idle and seems to have lot of free memory.It's status in the client is green (SAA version 2.2.0). What am I doing wrong ?
Thank you very much in advance !

You could be running into CSCea42787 'IPM cannot handle any source running 12.2(12) or later versions'.

Thank you very much !
I have downgraded the IOS to 12.2(10g) and now it is working. I am curious if that is the only kind of "workaround". Is there any later version of IPM that does work with current IOS versions ?

The actual bug is CSCdy68033, and the fix is to upgrade to IPM 2.4.2 available from CCO. The latest version of IPM also have this fixed. But for your case, 2.4.2 will correct this. No need to downgrade the IOS.
