Is the POS(packet over sonet) support multi-channel ?

I have a question regards the "PA-POS-OC3-SM" on 7204 router.

My understanding is the SONET is PPP so it'll connect between two devices and cannot configure multi-channel such as ATM PVC.

Is there any solution to configure multi-channel on the SONET interface ?

You have to realize how SONET networks work together with POS. POS is a full unchannelized circuit and go only go point-to-point along the SONET network. However you can get a channelized SONET card and create multiple connections on it, for instance having an OC-12 channelized card that breaks down to 12 seperate logical connections. The SONET nodes can take each STS and send them to different locations.
