Hey.
So i´ve been doing some theoretical exercises for Subnetting for IPv4 & IPv6. Is this a correct way to subnet?
IPv4 Scenario: Subnet 193.10.30.0/24 after these requierments.
1 Network : 120 Hosts
2 Network : 28 Host
3: Network : 25 Host
4 Linknet 1
5 Linknet 2
Linknet 1 & 2 consist of 3 routers (a > b > c)
Network Address CIDR First Host Last Host Broadcast Address Subnet mask
193.10.30.0 /29 193.10.30.1 193.10.30.6 193.10.30.7 255.255.255.248
193.10.30.128 /25 193.10.30.129 193.10.30.254 193.10.30.255 255.255.255.128
193.10.30.32 /27 193.10.30.33 193.10.30.62 193.10.30.63 255.255.255.224
193.10.30.64 /27 193.10.30.65 193.10.30.94 193.10.30.95 255.255.255.224
Question to you guys: The three routers now represented as a /29 should i do (2) /30 instead, or is this still a valid subnetting?
IPV6 : Create 5 IPv6 networks with the prefix /64 from 2001:6b0:29::/48
2001:6b0:29:0001:: /64
2001:6b0:29:0002:: /64
2001:6b0:29:0003:: /64
2001:6b0:29:0004:: /64
2001:6b0:29:0005:: /64

yes, you can do with the subnet of 255.255.255.252 - which has 2 usable IP.
for IPv6 - i am confused, you want to have 5 subnets from /48 or you want to make /64 subnet from /48
i recommend a good tool - make your life easy for IPv6.

Given the 2001:6b0:29::/48 i want to create 5 (subnets) networks with the prefix /64.
"Edit" Checked out your tool. My IPv6 subnetting seems legit it output....
2001:6b0:29:1::/64
2001:6b0:29:2::/64
