ISDN PRI Support on Cisco 7507 Router

I wonder if you could help -

I would like to add the following to an existing Cisco 7507 chassis:

2 x Ethernet

1 x 2MB Leased Line

1 x ISDN PRI

The slot availability on the 7507 is as follows:

Slot0: free

Slot1: CIP2

Slot2: RSP2

Slot3: RSP Blank Carrier

Slot4: Fast Serial Interface Processor - 4 x free ports

Slot5: Ethernet Interface Processor - 2 x free ports

Slot6: free

Based on this, I could support the requirement for 2 x Ethernet on Slot5, and 1 x 2MB Leased Line on Slot4. Is that right...???

If so, what module(s) would I need to support the remaining 1 x ISDN PRI requirement?

Please advise if there are any IOS version, memory, and/or flash constraints for the ISDN PRI module(s) you recommend.

You need to have PA-MC-xT1 port adaptor which does supports Channelized T1/PRI etc. Here is the url for more on that PA

1 port card is not available so you need to order for 2 or 4 port and above. For config on that, visit

I have opted for the following to support 1 x ISDN PRI on this existing 7507 chassis:

VIP2-50

PA-MC-2E1/120

CAB-ADPT-75/120

Does that look OK to you?

Was I right in saying that the 2 x Ethernet and the 1 X 2MB Leased Line requirement can be supported on the current modules?

Also, I would like to upgrade the Enterprise IOS from 11.2(9)P to 12.1(19), which requires 16MB flash and 64MB dram.

At present, I have 16MB flash and 32MB dram, so will need a memory upgrade as follows:

MEM-RSP-32M x 2

S75A-12116

Is this right...???
