I've got a 5505 that I recently loaded OS 9.1 on. The image I loaded was asa911-k8.bin. However, when I 'show ver' it says Encryption-DES AND Encryption-3DES-AES are both enabled. Is this possible with the K8 OS version?
Yes it is possible. On the ASA access to 3DES and AES are controlled by a license and not by the OS version. So go ahead and utilize the advanced encryption features of your ASA.
