Large number of errors on 6500, when using Apple MACS

Hi,

Getting large number of errors on 6500

ETHC-5-PORT FROM STP - PORT LEAVING BRIDGE - PORT JOINING BRIDGE

connected devices are apple macs running GigE.

Anyone seen this before?

Hi Scott,

Can you check the speed and duplex settings on machines as well as switch ports on which you have connected apple macs? I will say to make it a manual config if you have them on auto auto settings.

Are these Intel Macs? If so, are the switchports configured for voice vlans as well? If so, there is a known problem with the Apple NIC driver.
