             Hello,

Can anyone answer what the theoretical maximum cable length between back to back CGR2010 Routers utilizing the internal CSU/DSU GRWIC-2CE1T1-PRI T1 modules. This would be from internal CSU/DSU to internal CSU/DSU. The reason is the need to get from point A to B at a site where existing cable is the only option. I cannot add fiber and it is too far for ethernet though I do not know the exact distance or quality of existing cable for purposes of stating loss.

I see that the "cable-length long" cli command is for cables of greater length than 660 ft. What is the theoretical Max in feet?

Thanks,

Steven Kalupson

Max T1 length is specified as 655 Ft, for more than that you will need to use extenders or modems.
