Migrating from 4510 to 9410. What is the most efficient way to do so?

Is there a tool available for making these transitions less time consuming?

Will a cut and paste of configs (with some image/system specific manual changes)?

Will we have to reconfigure everything from scratch?

Hello,

I am not aware of such tool. The basic config should not differ much. I think the QoS on the 9400 is different, so if you have any configured on the old 4510, that is something to keep in mind...

Depends on the Supervisor engine. 

If the Supervisor engine is Sup7/8/9, the "base" config is about 98% compatible.  

If the Supervisor engine is "classic" Cisco IOS then there will be some "minor" issues.  It is best to copy-n-paste them one line at a time.
