Modem pooling

Hi,

There was "modem-pool" command on AS5300 routers which may be used to group the modems. In this way when a specific number is dialed , the modem on the configured group on the access server was get it. I couldn't see the same command on AS5350 chassis.

How can I group the DSPs so that when a specific number is dialed , the specific group answers the call? ( If possible )

Regards

Hi,

I got the answer before anybody answered. It is resource-pool command.

On all the Nextport spe based platforms like AS5350, AS5400, AS5850 etc, modem pooling command feature is replaced with resource-pool feature..

But all the mica modem based platforms (except 3600) like AS5200, AS5300 supports "modem pooling".

Here is the url for configuring resource-pooling on nextport platforms
