Hello,
when downloading module serial numbers via snmp from routers we get some wrong results.
We are asking here:
iso(1).org(3).dod(6).internet(1).private(4).enterprises(1).cisco(9).temporary(3).chassis(6).cardTable(11).cardTableEntry(1).cardSerial(4)
With some cards(NM-2CE1B,WIC-1T,..) it works, but with NM-16ESW, AIM-VOICE-30, PPWR-DCARD-16ESW... we get some negative nubmers, different from legal numbers get via sh diag.
Is there any way to get correct numbers?
May it be only a software problem?(12.2.15T)
Is there any way to transform collected numbers to correct nuber???
Thanks a lot

Are you using ENTITY-MIB for this?

Hello,
well , no. You can see in my previous post what part of MIB I am using. Although it seems that Entity mib contains serial number, the reality is , that it doesn't show it. Have You any other experience ?
