I've just started using igmp controls to allow multicast sessions within a given building... works great for ghosting. Now I'd like to support multicast *between* buildings. Some of my links are T1, others are 45Mbits. Do I need to somehow throttle the connection to keep a 45Mbit multicast stream from crushing my T1 locations - or is that done automatically?
For simplicity, let's say I have 5 locations, all running 3640's. 2 are connected with 45Mbit connections to site A, the other 2 are connected with T1's to site A.
