We have two routers that are connected by FR, with multilink PPP connection, with LLQ. After the connection is established two Virtual-access interfaces are created one in MLP Bundle mode and one in PPPoFR mode. The interface in MLP Bundle mode has an IP address assigned from Virtual-Template and is used for communication. However, when we ping the other side's virtual-access interface every other ping is lost. In the debug we see that every other ping is sent over the Virtual-access that is in PPPoFR mode and gets a "encapsulation failed" message and is dropped.
All other connections (ping from router A's serial to router B's ethernet, eth to eth) work without drops.
Can this be a bug in the IOS? Has anyone encountered a similar problem??
