Quick question. If I have two switches connected to each other and one is vlan1 and the other is vlan2 and I am seeing the error native vlan mismatch, how can the two switches talk to each other. If the packet has been assighned vlan 2 on one switch going out a port and on the other switch the packet has assighned vlan 1 ID then how come my servers on one switch can talk to the servers on the other switch? Just a question about theory. Any body have any comments.
Thanks
Justin

That is exactly it - if the untagged frame comes in on a VLAN 2 access port, then it is only allowed to go to other ports in VLAN 2, or to a trunk (in which case it gets tagged).
Sorry, we got a bit distracted from the original "quick question", didn't we! ;-)

So that explanes how I can plug my vlan2 access port into another switchs vlan3 access port and devices on both sides can talk together. Thanks a ton everybody for your help.

But still doesn't explain how could VLAN125 tagged frame appear on VLAN2 access port...
