Nb On WAN supported on C3745

Hello,

I Would like to use 8 X.21 links at 2meg each on the 3745. (need 8 connectors)

Regarding the configurator, I can use only 3 WIC2T >> 6 Links.

So I have select NM-2Wand Added 2 additional WAN WICs.... But configurator

complain that only 3 WICs can be populated on the C3745 !!!

Is it really a restriction ??? or an error of the configurator.

I can't beleive that this box is not able to be populated only with WAN links.

If somebody got the answer, that will help a lot

Since the NM-4T is not supported on the 3745, your only option would be the WIC-2T. I don't see any other restrictions internally on the number of WICs that can be supported, which may mean the configurator is wrong. I would suggest you send an email to the configurator folks (I would but I'm not sure which web page you are referencing) to have them verify their info.

Thanks for the quick answer.

Regarding web page, it just the Dynamic configurator tool, after selecting Family 3745, then Even if I had new NW-2W, this let me the capability to seleclt 2 WIN-2T in top of the 3 WICs slots located on the main chassis.

ANd then COnfigurator complain that "overall" 3 WICs max are allowed !!!! may be not yet tested !!!
