Need some professional advice

I have a Cisco series 7200 and Cisco Series 2500 router connected via a serial line.The other side of the 7200 router is connected to the internet and the other side of the 2500 router is connected to ethernet.Between the serial ports of these two routers, the traffic built up so much.Its just between these two serial interfaces and this traffic is not traveling to the internet (the other side of the 7200 router) or the ethernet (the other side of the 2500 router).its just between the two serial interfaces of these two routers.Like a loop.when this happen and traffic goes so high, then the serial port of the 2500 router PROTOCOL goes down.

Maybe you want to check for Routing Loops... Also, is there any queing set up on the Serial Interfaces ? What's the Bandwidth set on both the Serial lines ??

Did you configure the clock rate on any of the serial interfaces? Make sure you do, and only on one side, but not both.
