Hi All,
How can I set up a pair of routers to simulate a fractional T-1? I have a pair of 2500s with a back to back serial cable, and I want to vary the actual link speed from full T-1 down to 128k to test some servers that will be on each end.
Is there any easy way to do this?
Thanks, Randy

Randy,
You can vary the clock rate on the physical DCE side of your back-to-back cable. Is that enough for you? I forget the speeds a 2500 will do, but you can verify this by typing "clock rate ?" to see the different speeds your 2500 will do.//CM

On the DCE side, (below is a 2500)
tweety(config-if)#clock rate ?
Speed (bits per second)
<300-4000000> Choose clockrate from list above
so to run 128K, it would be clock rate 128000
Then the DTE side would automatically clock off of the DCE side.
